A female-founded nonprofit organization with the mission of empowering girls to pursue economics through free and accessible economics education.
The gender gap in economics is the largest of any academic discipline.
Nationwide, there are about 3 men for every woman majoring in economics. This ratio has not changed for over 20 years, a shocking reality when compared to other fields like STEM and business which have seen significant gains for women over the past decades.

Girls for Econ’s Intro to Financial Literacy course taught me about many aspects of investing that were previously unfamiliar to me. I had a lovely experience in the Intro the Econ course and I found all of them not only jam-packed with interesting knowledge and lessons, but easy to learn for beginners.
